Al Ahli Benghazi have reached the Libya Cup final after beating Al Akhdar 4–2 on penalties following a goalless draw in their semi-final at Tripoli International Stadium on Sunday.
Chances were limited in a cautious and closely contested match, with neither side able to break the deadlock in normal time. Al Ahli Benghazi held their nerve in the shootout to secure a place in the final.
They will face Al Ahli Tripoli in what is expected to be a keenly contested decider.
