Saudi Arabia has approved transit for Libyans stranded in Bahrain who want to return home, according to the Libyan Embassy in Manama.
The embassy said Saudi authorities had approved transit lists for travellers registered to return to Libya while Bahrain International Airport remains closed.
Under the arrangement, travellers will be allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to four days from the date of entry, the embassy said.
The statement warned that overstaying the permitted period could result in fines or legal action.
