JUBA – The Commissioner General of the South Sudan Revenue Authority has directed that all government revenues be paid exclusively through the country’s electronic tax platform, banning manual collection of public funds with immediate effect.
In a directive issued on Friday, Mr Moun Deng Ajuet said the move is aimed at strengthening transparency, reducing revenue leakages and modernising the country’s revenue administration.
